Makeup Prep
- Faces should be cleansed, makeup-free, and moisturized before the artist’s arrival.
- Apply a light moisturizer to keep the skin hydrated, but avoid heavy creams or oils.
- Refrain from using any new skincare products in the days leading up to the wedding to prevent potential reactions.
- Gently exfoliate the night before to remove dead skin cells for a smoother makeup application.
- Any facial waxing must be completed at least 48 hours before the appointment.
- No makeup from the night before should be on the face Or Mascara on the eyes.
- Bring photos of the hair and make-up styles that you like for inspiration.
- Bring your veil and any hair accessories so we can see how it works with the hairstyles. (Trial Day)
- Bring any go-to skincare and make-up products you would like to use on the trial/wedding day. (for example particular lip color, blush, mascara, etc.) (THIS IS OPTIONAL)
- Arrive in a button-down shirt to ensure that hair/makeup will not be ruined upon removal of clothing
- Most importantly for Wedding Day Prep, please be ready on time for your appointment. Even starting 10 minutes late will put everyone behind and we don’t want you to be late for your event!
Wedding Day Prep Hair
- All hair must be knot-free and brushed. Hair should be clean and completely dry. If hair styling is also part of the appointment, ensure hair is free of any products like hairspray or gel.
- A blow-dry is an additional service and an additional charge. If a blow-dry has been requested, the client should wash their hair just before the appointment and have damp, towel-dried hair upon the artist’s arrival.
- Please ensure to follow the timeline. no last-minute errands.
- Know the order in which makeup will be done, if it has been pre-planned.All hair should be washed and blow-dried the night before.
- Make sure the hair is not greasy or has any oily products otherwise, it will not hold the curls or/and style.
- Do not tie your tight and do not tie them wet.
- Bring photos of the hair and make-up styles that you like for inspiration.
- Bring your veil and any hair accessories so we can see how it works with the hairstyles. (Trial Day)
Personal Items:
- Lip Balm: (it is optional)Apply a light layer of lip balm before the appointment to ensure smooth lips.
- Hair Accessories: If bringing hair extensions or accessories, ensure they are clean, untangled, and ready to use.
- Comfortable Clothing: Wear something comfortable and easy to remove without disturbing your hair or makeup.
- Communicate Needs: Inform the makeup artist of any allergies, skin sensitivities, or specific makeup preferences ahead of time.
- Relaxed and Positive: Stay relaxed and enjoy the process. A positive atmosphere can enhance the experience for everyone.
- Respect the Schedule: Be mindful of the schedule and respectful of everyone’s time, including the makeup artist’s.
By following these guidelines, the bridal party can ensure a smooth, enjoyable, and efficient makeup appointment on the wedding day.
